									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Send Help</strong> is a weird movie. Lots of fun Raimi touches and a decent enough central premise, but it isn&#8217;t coherent as a whole. It feels choppy and nonsensical and operates on a kind of cartoon logic that makes it hard to buy into it or care about it. It&#8217;s almost like a Tom &amp; Jerry cartoon at times.</p>

<p>SS86 Thundercracker is fine, but a bit too smooth and animation-orientation to me &#8211; I like a bit of greebling. Being so flat kind of makes him look cheap. And the jet mode is virtually the same as the Earthrise mould so this isn&#8217;t really all that much of an upgrade.</p>

<p>Apparently complaints about historical inaccuracy don&#8217;t extend to them all having American accents and speaking English though, that&#8217;s obviously fine.</p>

It does well in balancing the spooky horror and the comedy without undercutting the creepier elements, and Matthew Rhys (who I liked a lot in The Beast In Me) is a great lead. <p>The digital comics infrastructure has sadly taken a big step backwards since Comixology got swallowed up by Amazon.</p>

I find it all really flat and unengaging and it seems to miss a lot of what makes Daredevil appealing as a character. D&#8217;Onofrio is great but even his performance can&#8217;t carry this.</p>
