to get a Liefeld is something. Some folks might not dig it much, but more fans then haters fortunately. And he is an icon, no matter what you think of him!!

I am starting my 11th project today… after my adventures chronicling the Mummies coming back to live and becoming the Sisterhood, there now has been found a new ´sister ´ …

We call her lovingly the Mermaid Mummy.

that is basically the ONLY site I check a few times a week now.  And ICv2 as well….

Ever since I started my own newssite (comicsforsinners) I just felt like the other sites were more about DC and Marvel then anything else and well… I kinda stopped following those soapopera’s.

And then last year I started publishing my own books… so less and less time to even go around and check out the news!

HEXED was one of the best books I have read in 2020!! Not all is completely explained, the reader steps kinda right in the middle of a wickedly intense story… and the trip is trippy!!

are you getting this done yourself or do you use a platform?

This is one of the books that highly influenced me into dumping the Big2 all together and never look back!
This 12-comic tale is now collected in one massive collection and the world just became a better place.
I can only urge everyone to get this collection and read, breath, eat it all up! Best to order 2 copies because you will keep on reading this one till the pages fall off!!

perhaps soe folks drool over Alan Moore’s Swamp Thing (and he sure has a point! ) but this collection of Dan Schaffer insane-ness will leave you jumping up and down for sure!

1] Is it possible that the front page has a bigger font? The fontsize inside a topic is good

2] And now I see a gazzillion “new” when not coming to the forum regularly, so perhaps that is also a thingie?

3] the blockquote-option is only an indent. Not a real ‘block’ is shown

4] Last: I use my wheelscroll to navigate, but on the forum (main overview of topics, but also inside a topic) it scrolls too much at once. 1.5 screen for me. Is that something on your end? I only have this issue on this forum here

300 packages from SHEVA and SISTERHOOD have shipped!!

I have already written a lot (the updates at KS and the columns via Comicsforsinners) about the delays, the learning process etc so now I just keep my mouth shut :)

But I am very proud of the end result and now take a moment to rest until I crank up the new Kickstarter !!

Richard’s love for the BadGrrl/GoodGrrl genre (as confessed here and here) started way back in the early 90s when he discovered some Harris Vampirella comics, as well as jumping on board of the train called Image Comics, with lovely titles such as Witchblade, Darkchylde, Avengelyne and many more.

In 2001, Richard started BadGrrlFanClub via Yahoo Groups, where he distributed all the news about strong female persona’s and gathered a wide following.

After taking those first steps, Richard increased his presence in the world of comics, from working at conventions (F.A.C.T.S.) to Headlines Editor at a comic book news site (Broken Frontier) to even get in the comic business itself doing PR work and helping artists around the globe find gigs (via Boom Art Department) and editing comic books (Nancy In Hell On Earth, Rogues!) and translating Ravine, Tomb Raider and Dragon Age.
Richard currently is also working on a comic book series and art book, based on his favorite sketchbook theme, Hot Mummy!

BATMAN DAMNED

It was a trippy read. The art is fab, but the story is not comic-y that’s for sure.
Nor is the ending really a real ending… There are loads of questions I might still have.
I do hope there will be a followup on this!
