    @arjandirkse:

The young guy with the muscles is none other than the rapper mogul known as Fifty Cents.
It is a picture of him in his much younger years.

Not to be a pedant, but his name is 50 Cent. Not 50 Cents, not Fifty Cent. Or “Fitty” if you’re his friend. Or Curtis James Jackson III if you’re his mother.

I mean, you often post people like 50 Cent, or several people in your last post, and they aren’t doing anything interesting, they’re just posing. I guess you post them because the people themselves are interesting to you, and that’s fine, but I can can rarely recognise who they are so I’m not sure why they are interesting to you :)

    Ohhhh.. I get it now.

I always posted famous people in their younger years like Jimmy Page as a boy on TV, vintage Hendrix, and now “Elliot” from the movie ET in his 50s now.

This is the main picture thread. I post a few on Star Trek when it is pertinent there, others too in other threads now and then, but this has always been the main depository. Others post in this thread political pics , d*ck pics, nudity, funny and quirky pics… All a mixed bag here. I might post some psych memes…who knows?

I get it that you wonder about a few things that might go over your head. That is understandable. You had me going there thinking that you did not know anything about ET, Olson’s sister, Leo…

There is a good point there though, and the raid on Trump’s property apparently wasn’t because of underage sex. Maxwell is jailed for underage sex trafficking, but who were those kids trafficked to? Is there an effort to arrest those people?

The engines of the state will protect the elite until they’re no longer useful. Epstein’s value had been superseded by his liabilities and he was allowed to fall. You saw the same thing in the UK where Jimmy Saville and other high-profile predators were protected until it was no longer expedient to do so.

Where does Prince Andrew fall in this? He’s been accused, he’s been stripped of various royal titles and responsibilities by the family, but he hasn’t been brought to trial…yet. Is he still useful to the powers-that-be in the UK?

He’s effectively a sacrifice to keep the rest of the Royal Family away from the scandal for now

He’s not necessarily useful. I think the truth is to bring him to trial and get a conviction is extremely hard. It’s one person’s word against another he had sex with Guiffre and if he did it as she was 17 it wasn’t illegal in the UK as the age of consent is 16.

We know she was trafficked but if he declares ignorance of that fact then the blame all goes back to Epstein and Maxwell for trafficking. I’m a republican (note the small r) so have no interest in defending him, I don’t give a shit if he dies in jail, but unless you have documented evidence showing he knew she was trafficked it’s pretty impossible to pass a conviction. It’s not even illegal to use a prostitute in the UK, only if it can be proven you solicited the deal.

That’s why stuff like this gets moved to civil prosecution where the penalties are financial and not criminal so it drives everyone to settle, which is also the Michael Jackson story.

I’d say him being stripped of titles and duties is seen by the people with the means and power to punish him as sufficient.

I don’t think His Royal Child Rapist Andrew will break a sweat over this any time soon.

I’m normally not someone who advocates for violence, but in this case it is hard to remain  commited to pacifism. Dutch public broadcasting did some “interesting” documentaries in the 90s on Dutroux, whihc can still be found on youtube, and I have to say it is not so far out to believe in organized elite child abuse.

However that begs the question what are the verifiable sources? If you take scientific research as such, that can easily be falsified. Also scientists and academics can be bought just like politicians.

Often it comes down to what are reliable sources. Do you believe the article in the newspaper? Do you believe their sources are speaking the truth, and are not made up? Do you believe the numbers in the scientific article?
