Ok boomer.
There is a difference between having an iphone and having a net worth of 30 million. He could give 29 million of those to a charity of his choosing and still be a millionaire.

And it wouldn’t solve a single issue with wealth inequality in the world if he did.

Well he could buy homes for homeless families, food for the poor with those 29 million…small beginnings perhaps compared to all the world’s problems but a good example to start with for other millionaires and billionaires.

And as unlikely as all that is, it still wouldn’t do anything about wealth inequality.
The fact of the matter is, saying a rich person cannot criticise capitalism because they are rich is just a thought-terminating cliché. It’s telling you to ignore the message because of who said it, and you just lapped it up like a cat with a saucer of milk.
Fair point. I agree the message does make sense, I don’t like today’s capitalism either.

Very briefly as this is a picture thread… I guess the abuses of capitalism result in the top 1% like what the Occupy Wall St. were protesting about years ago. Socialism in theory, (as Bernie and AOC promote), is said to spread the wealth a little more.

I love the idea that there’s a secret era of X-Men comics that’s all about intolerance and being closed-minded to people different to ourselves.
“Feared and hated… just as they should be!”

I would avoid the ones written by Chuck Austen. Not because they are “woke”, but because they are terribly written.
No no, I think the Austen run is exactly what this guy should be recommended.
Is the rest of that post “…you should read the Gay Wedding issue of X-Men”?
