100 hours? Luxury!
Liz who?
I believe it’s a type of lettuce.
Okay, not being all that plugged in into this whole thing, I took a look and it’s about the goblins again. Jesus. You would’ve thought they’d have taken care to avoid that whole shit.
Pop band S Club 7 are reuniting after 25 years.
Tina (46, centre on the sofa) has a portrait in her attic. Paul (45, first left) does not.
Popbitch did a run down what they’ve all been up to in the interim.
JON: Did some West End work; shagged a couple of Popbitch readers; worked for a time at Godstone Farm in Surrey (until they decided to put down his favourite llama and he handed in his notice).
PAUL: Formed a nu-metal band called Skua, sold his old S Club merch on eBay; re-joined, left, then re-re-joined S Clubs 7, 3 and 4.
BRADLEY: Came and judged a Popbitch karaoke night; has since become a crypto evangelist.
HANNAH: Starred in the kids film Agent Cody Banks 2; was sent fan mail, written in crayon, from someone pretending to be a child asking her for nail clippings for a “school project”.
TINA: Released a solo single called Fire; presumably spent most of the rest of her time in cryogenic stasis.
RACHEL: Recorded an album called Tasty Tunes – a collection of songs “aimed at encouraging toddlers to try new healthy foods”.
JO: Big Brother racism row; a strangulated bowel; and the last one standing on the PA circuit, playing solo gigs as recently as October 2022.

He does but it’s a portrait of Chris Moyles.
Apparently this is a genuine tweet that Peterson put out:

Is he upset because it doesn’t say “use fewer”?

Heh. You can easily imagine how he got just so angry and shouted at the towel dispenser on that loo for like minutes.
That man lives in a sad, dark, narrow place.
Possibly because it keeps you on the loo instead of in the sun for such a long time.

The city changed that huge button on 7th Ave with this new yellow one. I took a pic and this passerby looked at me:
As for meme people then and now:
I’ve actually got this on a t-shirt.
I just saw this and the one with the Dilbert guy. Now:
I mean, I kinda agree with the general sentiment of that, but it’s not like there aren’t plenty of poor bigots currently.
I agree generally but there is also an element of having too much time to go off the rails.
I saw someone ask on Graham Linehan’s latest tweet on trans issues ‘is this your job now?”. He was the most successful sitcom writer in the UK and Ireland for a while and now does fuck all.
Stats show 25% of women in the UK report having been sexually assaulted, 97% are never prosecuted and that’s the hill these people are dying on as a feminist stance? Hypothetical issues.
There are plenty of poor bigots but I think most don’t have the luxury of handing over their time of self destructive nonsense. Russell Brand without his financial advantages (and I know he comes from a working class background) probably would be too busy trying to earn a crust to be posting YouTube videos about Bill Gates putting chips into Covid vaccines he wasn’t even involved with.

I saw George Monbiot talking about Brand on Twitter yesterday or so and – owing to the fact I’ve never particularly liked him, even when he was just a whimsical heroin addict TV presenter – I’ve not paid any attention to Brand in years. Last I knew he was telling young people not to vote because it doesn’t matter (which is a largely stupid idea). But in replies to Monbiot’s piece, some posted screencaps of Brand’s YT channel and it is shocking just how bananas it is. I don’t know if he’s at full Icke levels yet, but it’s up there.
As for meme people then and now:

This is how I spent my jamaican vacation….
I knew quite a few people who spent their twenties like that.
Pretty sure I’ve posted this before but sod it, it’s funny
That’s just awakened an old memory for me. When I was a kid I got this poster for Goldeneye free with a film mag:
But as it was an A2 poster, it came folded into quarters, revealing this sinister message:
