starting WW III to establish a new world order, makes sense to me
Too much sense for Alex Jones.
Katsuhiro Otomo did a comic about an old fisherman who wanted to have sex with a Mermaid – and of course he wanted one with the fish top and lady bottom.

Strong vibes of this scene:
People keep deploying the Evergiven/Suez meme incorrectly. The ship is not a problem or a negative, that it’s stuck is the problem.
Anyway.
My response is usually “I don’t trust machines that can talk.”
My Gosh, JR, just come out and say you are a furry!
TV caught lying again:
Kramer: I’m telling you, Jerry, the hallway can’t exist!
Jerry: Will you get out of here with this already!
Kramer: Oh I’ll try, but who knows where I’ll end up when I leave this room!
Jerry: Just go.
Kramer exits
George: What’s his problem?
Jerry: (dismissive) Oh, it’s a whole non-Euclidean architecture thing.
Is it a bird?
Is it a bird?
Nah, I think that’s a plane.

“Martha!”
Looks like Hong Kong.
Very much so. It could possibly be somewhere else but Hong Kong has a bit of a unique style in how close the skycrapers are to each other due to scarcity of land and most of them were built in the 60s to 80s. So quite a lot of brutalist architecture.
Although inside they tend to be a lot nicer and less functional and grim than European high rises of that era. Land prices are so high almost nobody owns a house in Hong Kong so a significant amount of the residents are pretty well paid white collar workers and professionals.
In US cities you tend to have a range of styles in tall buildings from across the last century to today. In the rest of Asia and the middle east they are more modern, mostly built this century.

It’s a frog!
Real mindfuck………you think the person is a regular polydactyl, and surprise! They have a whole palm of their hand growing where the thumb normally is.
That picture terrifies me. Unfortunately, the condition is real, and possibly so are the fotos. Urgh.
Jesus fucking Christ.

Isn’t that kind of abilist?
I usually don’t post the Oglaf strips with graphic sex in them, but this one was too funny
Top left is the Wylam Brewery in Newcastle. Top right is … well, I dunno what it’s called but it’s a bar/resturant cluster built out of shipping containers in Gateshead. Middle right is The Tyne Bar on the Ouseburn in Newcastle. Middle left is the Cluny in Newcastle, one of the city’s best concert venues. I think the bottom left must be Monkseaton station, in Newcastle.
I am happy to report that the middle picture is nowhere near Newcastle
I’ve been to barbers like this, but my current one is excellent and I cannot fricking wait to get my hair cut! I’ve tried to keep it under control myself (with my girlfriend cutting the back for me, which is impossible to do by yourself) but otherwise it’s been four hellish months of looking like a goddamn hippy.
I feel pretty validated by my choice to just let it grow long until everything blows over. Just being able to tie it up into a ponytail has been much more convenient than spending the past four months dealing with it just starting to get long again.
I feel pretty
This is all you really meant to say, isn’t it, Martin?
From this:

I go to the barber’s across the road from work usually, as I can duck out halfway through a workday and have it done in about 10 minutes (there’s not much to work with) for 20 dollars. Been going for many years now and it’s still awkward small talk, or no talk.

This is the thing, short hair is easy to handle, very long hair is easy because you can just tie it back (I had a rave ponytail back in my college days). It’s everything inbetween that’s a pain in the arse.
