I got this message from one of his friends:

Hello,
I hope this finds you doing well.
I’m really sorry to add and share some super crap news; we’ve lost another friend in 2020.
Michael Loveland was an amazing Human and man that strived every day, to better the injustices that our society holds over so many of us.
Michael passed on Sunday, November 8th, 2020 in Longmont, Co.
I am currently looking into several actions to serve & remember him and hope that it’s something his community is supportive of.
I know he appreciated & cared for each and every one of us that he spoke with.
I am so very sorry for loss and feelings of grief.

I miss him already.

Yeah, I remembered about that. He shared a birthday with my wife…So good Ol’ Treebeard has been in my thoughts quite a bit over the last couple of days.

He’s been on my mind this week as well.

I remember how cranky(surprising, right!) he would get around his birthday because of those assholes who ruined his birthday. to all who had the pleasure to know him.

Strange. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like it’s been much longer than a year?

huh it feels the other way to me. Of course I have had other things to occupy my mind over the last year.

I come back to read this thread sometimes when I feel down. It’s maybe a bit weird, seeing as it’s about us grieving our friend. But it gives me comfort. Thanks guys.

At work, I saw the name Higginbotham and it made me think of how Miqque always found ways to bring up Bothans in Star Wars discussions, usually erroneously. It brought a smile to my face.

How many Higginbothams died to bring us this information?
