That did not look good.
Looks really goofy, but in the good kinda way that Venom also was.
I’m looking forward to seeing more from it. And people are already calling the little surprise at the end a cameo, when I think that until we see more, that it might actually be a reference to Night Shift.
So it’s just a generic vampire movie?
So it’s just a generic vampire movie?
Except he’s a vampire created by SCIENCE!
So….it’s a Vampire movie from the early 00’s and mid-10’s?
Imagine going back twenty years and telling people there would be a big-budget movie about Morbius. They’d laugh in your face.
They still might.
Got a real Westworld vibe from that music though.
The whole package reminded me a lot of The Strain. I think it might have been the use of Fur Elise too. It seems like the kind of music GDT would have used to underline a vampire movie.
So Keaton’s Vulture is in this? Ugh.
Is he the same character? I didn’t realise that from the trailer.
Apparently, I thought he was wearing some sort of coroner uniform or something, that’s why I thought it might be a Night Shift reference, but supposedly it’s the prison jumpsuits from Homecoming.
It’s a shame because I was hoping that Sony’s stuff would be separate and solitary.
The Spidey poster was the only thing that I thought indicated a crossover – presumably the ‘murderer’ graffiti is related to the post-credit scene in Far From Home.
Looks totally ok. Real average. Ticking the boxes and re-using some familiar ideas and images.
‘Venom’ was a lot of fun, despite the problems and looking, frankly, as dumb as a rock.
So this might be better than it looks, but it looks ok.
Honestly, it’s a better trailer than any of Venom’s trailers – at least in terms of looking silly and ridiculous. Like, Venom’s trailers were very tepid….and this one is kinda generic in terms of the characters, but it has a lot more just goofball stuff in it. Like the Cave bit, or the swirling bat science chamber.
It’s like a 2000’s superhero best-hits… some nightcrawler, some DD, some Maguire SM, some Batman Begins… xD
But hey, it looks decent, so there…
Birdman vs. Jaysus Joker.
Imagine going back twenty years and telling people there would be a big-budget movie about Morbius. They’d laugh in your face.
They still might.
Imagine going back twenty years and telling people you’d just seen the latest Terminator movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. They’d probably take pity on you and give you some soup and a warm place to rest.
Take with a grain of salt:
Looks like Moon Knight will start shooting in August.

Rubbish, Moon Knight doesn’t carry a gun.

Look, it doesn’t matter if the movie is terrible. The important thing is that it’s giving us a Morbius omnibus: https://www.amazon.com/Morbius-Living-Vampire-Omnibus-Kane/dp/1302922408
Still looking good. Really like Taskmaster perfectly copying her.
Thank god, it looks like Florence Pugh isnt doing that silly thick Russian accent for the whole film.
Synopsis for The Eternals:
Marvel Studios’ The Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, The Deviants.
The outstanding ensemble cast include Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Kumail Nanjiani as the cosmic-powered Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Salma Hayak as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-coul Sprite, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, Barry Keoghan as the aloof longer Druig, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena. Kit Harrington was cast as Dane Whitman.
Directed by Chloe Zhao, who helmed the critically acclaimed Sundance film The Rider, and produced by Kevin Feige, The Eternals opens in U.S. theaters on November 6, 2020.
Yeah, but is there a Snyder cut?

Synopsis for Black Widow
In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
Huh. Hum. Well, it’ll be interesting to see if this can become a Venom thing, but I doubt it – I think the off-kilter humour was a key ingredient in Venom’s success, and that heavy melancholy won’t do as well. I honestly don’t know if I’, interested in seeing this at all…
I am also not sure if I despise of kinda like what they did to “Für Elise” in that trailer. The way it works with the moments he’s humming it is kind of clever, but overall it’s also… not good?
I agree with Christian. This feels not good.
Especially of Matt Smiths villain is just going to be another living vampire. I’m pretty sick of that trope in superhero movies.
Sony seems to be carving out a 90s / early 2000 revival for superhero rivival niche here
Can an animated NEXTWave be far off?

Can an animated NEXTWave be far off?
Only with this theme song:
Not a big fan of Patton Oswalt but two things intrigued me in that article.
Sam Richardson as Gary – Gary is a henchman or “beekeeper” at A.I.M. who is fiercely loyal to his boss M.O.D.O.K.
does he look anything like this?
Aimee Garcia – who I love as Ms. Lopez on Lucifer. she plays Jodie, M.O.D.O.K.’s wife
US Agent in Winter Soldier and the Falcon
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EO1WEuDXsAEObGM?format=jpg&name=large
ehh I don’t love the costume… too baggy and too Avengers 1-like (looks very much like a cosplay, tbh)… I also wish they’d gone for the black instead of blue, but hey, at least they’re bringing John Walker in, so there’s that.
the uniform looks good. 2 quibbles are the logo(and merging it with the shoulder strap) and the shield. Steve gave the shield to Sam. This bullshit about the US owning the shield is annoying. in MCU, Steve was given the shield in London by Howard Stark and if the govt still has a problem with the vibranium used, have them talk to T’challa.
I imagine the ownership of the shield will be a plot point?
Captain Marvel 2 won’t have the same creative team as the first one:
https://www.polygon.com/2020/1/23/20831095/captain-marvel-sequel-release-date-writer
I think Winter Soldier is the only other time the original writers/directors haven’t been involved in a first MCU sequel at all. IIRC, Branagh was originally planning to direct Thor 2 but dropped out.
Captain Marvel 2 won’t have the same creative team as the first one:
I’m fine with that. Hopefully the story will be a bit more involving next time?
Yeah, honestly that’s good news… well unless it’s somehow worse… is it too late to recast too? u_u
It’s weird that Hit Monkey is apparently still happening.
Hit Monkey probably has a better agent. Or better blackmail photos.
Hit Monkey probably has a better agent. Or better blackmail photos.
It can be two things!
Or a cameo in a David Lynch short or a new Murakami novel.
Oh wait, that’s still two things!
Why are there monkeys everywhere all of a sudden?
The Fat Man and the Wanker?
Based on the spacing, it is more likely The Fat Man and the Wanking Wanker
the Wanking Wanker
One of Stan Lee’s lesser-known Fantastic Four villains.

I believe he slapped that one out in a few minutes.

Heh. Looking at his watch while saying “very very soon”, ey? Fucking tease.
I do hope we get a teaser or something soon.
We’ll probably get a teaser for Falcon/Winter Soldier soon since Disney just moved up the release date.

He’s a radical choice to play Thor in the flashbacks, but I’ll wait and see before passing judgement.
I’ve seen predictions that he’s Balder.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Owen act in anything where he didn’t have a twang in his voice.

Well, that’s normal as you get older.

This is going around a lot of fan sites now. I didn’t answer this and delete this – I never said it at all. (Not did I ever have any such discussions with Marvel). It’s 100% fake. 🙄
Hah! They’re whipping out the Time Variance Authority (The TVA) for Loki!
I’ve seen predictions that he’s Balder.
Balder is the ‘Hansel’ of Asgard.
I spy Zemo and, awwww, Hippy Jaysus Winter got his hair cut specially for Cap Falcon.
Poor Wanda – she’s fractured but she looks so happy with her Scarlet Witch costume and the hints to Vision babbies.
I’ve seen predictions that he’s Balder.
Balder is the ‘Hansel’ of Asgard.
what does this mean?
It means that he’s not the Gretel of Asgard.
I’ve seen predictions that he’s Balder.
Balder is the ‘Hansel’ of Asgard.
He’s hotter than Surtur right now.
what does this mean?
Hansel was the male model Owen Wilson played in Zoolander.
Iger says Falcon and the Winter Solider will debut on Disney+ in Aug, with WandaVision coming in December. And Mandalorian Season 2 will come in October.

I don’t see any reason to subscribe until August, TBH.
I don’t see any reason to subscribe until August, TBH.
My wife’s nephew is letting me use his subscription. After I watched The Mandolorian, I started looking to see what else they had. I can honestly say that I wouldn’t pay for the subscription. If I had children, it would be a different story. There really isn’t that much to keep me coming back anytime soon. Depending on how current you really want to be, you could probably subscribe for one month per year and watch the new shows that you want.
I love how apparently eveyrone wants to subject their kids to Disney xD
I’d honestly sooner make ’em watch the WB cartoon library =P

Disney XD was a pretty good channel. It had plenty of excellent shows for kids.
Holy shit. That could be amazing.
Rami with a big budget again. Would he be willing to follow someone else’s story?
Its very nice of Kevin Feige to let Rami put his name on one of his films.
Upgrade! Aside from a couple trippy sequences, I thought the first film looked a bit pedestrian. Raimi’s sensibility that would be perfect for this.
Don’t suppose he could bring Elfman along as well?
Actually I’m not sure Raimi would be a good visual fit for this, but his type of horror/humour, yes, obviously…
Honestly, I think the most importat thing for DocS2 would be to get whoever planned/thought of/came up with his scenes in Infinity War to handle the visual side of the movie, because those were REALLY fucking good…
Raimi on Doctor Strange is a perfect fit. Great news.
I … I think I made this happen with wish power…
Quick! Jenna Coleman! Appear in my apartment and bring a selection of fine gelato!
*clicks*
…
dammit
It’s the strangest thing.
A selection of fine gelato in all the colours of the rainbow is right outside my door!
Raimi is a great choice. Perhaps he made it so when he referenced Doctor Strange way back when in Spidey.
For the next generation of Marvel attractions at the California Adventure Park.
There was a couple cool ideas in that but it wasn’t a very good trailer.
Is that real? Seems like a fan-made thing.
Footage is real (the cap/iron man stuff seems to be from something else). All the audio is clearly fan done.
Is that real? Seems like a fan-made thing.
That would explain it. I can’t imagine Disney putting out a trailer that bad. Love them or hate them, they know how to craft a trailer.
This is supposedly a leak of the plot breakdown for “Morbius”, but this is Reddit, so take with a grain of salt:

Some of the stuff, like the Cap/IM bits, looked like they were taken from a video game?
I liked the animation on some of the stuff very much, wherever it’s from.
