I love that pissed-off look she is giving him.

What an unfortunate but totally unintentional coincidence.
(Looks like it might be photoshop…but still funny)
This will ring true for any digital artist.

I don’t get it.
They want the cum, Kalman.
I don’t get it.
Someone is parodying Ben Garrison by removing the text from his comic and inserting nonsense about cum. This is just one example, there are many others. They make about as much sense as his bullshit.

Oh, I didn’t know who he was. But I think it’s not so random: The water in the Capitol is colored to look less like water, and more like cum.

I never said it was random. And these parodies all follow the “cum” formula.
I feel that we are currently in The Running Man and heading rapidly towards Soylent Green.

How do you know we’re not already there? Bon appetit!

Huh- Almost all of these are also the German names. With the exception of the Latewalker, whom we call “Lazy Animal” and the Leechcone, which we call “Spike Animal”,

Interesting.
I have to point out though that “Blubberhunter” is a mistranslation. I’d say “Blubberstabber” is more literal.

“Leechcone” is very much burying the lede on the notable aspects of a hedgehog.

I assume you’re referring to the hedgehog’s superior business acumen, mastery of multitasking, and charming wit.

Don’t forget their unmatched speed.

Riverhorse is a literal translation of Greek hippopotamus. It’s Nilehorse in Dutch.
Reminds me of this great moment from a German TV discussion in the seventies in which one of the members of the punk rock band “Ton, Steine, Scherben” decided to let revolutionary actions speak instead of words.
(He then proceeds to steal the microphones.)

I hope he remembered to pick his axe up too

Chairman Miaow?
Frida Catlo. But a friend of mine did have a cat named Chairman Meow
I’d say both leechcone and hedgehog are similar in that respect, whereas spikeanimal goes right to the… point.
Also, I think “Hippopotamus” literally means River Horse.
Yes, in Greek, Hippos=Horse and Potamos=River.
etymological advisor
Huh. You trust an insect expert to know anything about killer whales?

Etymology = study of the history of words.
Entomology = study of insects.
And as for Killer Whales, I have no fucking idea. I’m not a botanist, am I?

I may have known that

My jokeology is not up to standards.
I have conferred with my legal and etymological advisor and we have concluded that my earlier correction of “blubberstabber” isn’t correct, and the closest we can get within the confines of the languages is “blubberbiter”.
that makes a lot more sense. I could not think what a killer whale would use to stab something.
