Thanks – I ended up going with them and it arrived a few weeks ago. Wow it’s a complicated transformation. Like, half an hour while following a YT video on 50%, and pausing and rewinding over and over again.
It’s a good looking figure in both forms, I saw that it wasn’t in a similar scale to Studio Series Optimus Prime but it looks pretty good next to Starscream.
My pal trawls local 2nd hand shops for toys and found a Superpatriot figure so got that for me – he’s strangely bow-legged (the toy, not the pal) so can’t stand unaided, but I have him on a shelf where he can lean against a back surface.
My Bloodwulf figure arrived and it’s pretty nice too – well painted, nice accessories, and the jacket/vest is a completely separate piece of plastic.
And finally the local department stores like Kmart have randomly stocked the Yolopark mini model kits – they’re mystery box/lucky-dip style but only 12 dollars so I grabbed four (there are eight all up) and fortunately didn’t get any doubles. Non-transformable and very easy to put together but also quite poseable – I’m missing Grimlock and Soundwave, and the two “chase” figures, Skywarp and Nemesis Prime.
